Man I just saw something like this on 1000 ways to die on spike network. On tv the girl yanked a fish out of the water and it landed in her mouth. Since fish have scaled every time she tried to pull it out the scales would cut her throat.....sad but I didn't think this would happen again!!! RIP

I saw that episodes and thought to myself WTF kind hypothetical situation is that......thats pretty crazy.

I seen that in the paper this morning. Death by aspiration of fish. I wonder if perhaps he was alergic and his throat swelled?

For those that dont know, Jeff has been working on boats most of his life. He has worked for John Ackley for years. Funjunkie and the rest of the NBU guys should know who he is. This is sad.

Tongue fish was what I heard on the Bloody Decks boards. He was entertaining the kids, and put the fish in his mouth so it would appear like a "tongue", except it moved and went down his throat, and got lodged with its spines.A very unfortunate event on our local fishing scene, and may his tragedy serve as a lesson for even the experienced. RIP
