ok well i was spose to go out on this perris trip with my buddy ron and his pops but for some reason i couldnt wake up and i didnt hear his call..but any way they got to the lake around 7 and started to head to a spot that has produced well for us in the past couble weeks... pretty much just tossin robos on a small jig head and today was awesome for my buddy rons pops!..but first let me give you the run down on these 2 guys...i would always be going fishing and my friend ron would say "what the hell you fish for isnt it boring to just sit there blah blah blah... i say "its not just sitting there you got to work the bait to get the bass...any way one day i was at a small pond by his parents house and he saw me there and stopped by to say whats up... seeing how i was fishing he went to his parents and found some poles... i hooked him up with a c-rigg robo and his first cast gets a bass on the fall!........hes hooked from there on...haha he gets his pops into it and a month later they have a brand new nitro with all the goods.... they started fishing at the end of last summer and been going out ever since....and for his pops persistance pays off heres what he got at perris this morning!!!

WTG Ron's Pops!!!! What a payoff for the fishing fever that you have spread.
Thanks for the post. Always like to see a DD, now I just want to catch one. Been close many times but never DD.

naw he has other pix thats just the only one he sent me... ill get the others to post later, his scale works good it was 10.3oz... i didnt have a scale for the fish in my avatar maybe its a DD to! lol i just guessed around 8lbs it was a heavy mofo...
rons pops bass is defently 10lbs just looks smaller cause the bucket mouth is closed

the bass are pretty much being held in the same position. mine was taken from farther away and will a cell phone but i still thing Rons pops bass is still a pound or 2 bigger

i dont know how you can doubt that to be a double d tacklejunkie. it only looks smaller cuz the mouths closed. thats defenitely a DD.

Get over it.
It just looks like some of the 7-8lbers I've caught there is all.
It's hard to see the fishes stomach and the whole fish all together. Just a bad pic of the fish..
Who cares what I thought is what I mean... the person who caught it knows what it weighs and that's all that really matters.
Nothing to get all riled up about.
