I am currently considering a trip up for the derby. I have not regestered yet so if I go it will be in the wee hours on Friday.

I'll be there, afraid the shoreline will be too crowded so bringing the kayaks. When I catch the $20k fish I'll let you know.....

The wife, kids and I are heading up for the derby. We are camping at Camp James. We are going to fish the auxillary dam area. We did really well there last year. Has anybody fished the Upper Kern lately? I was wondering if it is even worth the effort after the halting of the stocking program.
I'll be there. I'll be in the blue Tracker Pro Team 175. This will be 5 years in a row

I'll be there in my 13' blue whitewater raft. This will be my first derby at Isabella. Probably end up at Stine Cove.

Cool, We got mooring at the marina. So gonna do some crappie fishin friday.
We'll be in a white,blue & orange boat that says staybent on the sides.
If anyone see's Us say hey?
Were staying in Kernville as well in a house I rent when I go up there.

I will be using French Gulch marina as well for all three days. See you there.

Im going to be up there from friday until tuesday. I will be camping out at camp james. I think im going to fish the shore this year; last year it was not that great from the boat.

Nice, Ill be there also! I'm staying at a friends cabin. Ill do a little trolling from my boat and I hope to float tube a little. Leaving today, good luck all!

Is it a good idea to tube during the derby? I figured the boat traffic might get a little too heavy to be out on the tube.
