Lol, I launch my kayak wherever I please, but NPH Back Bay at Newport Dunes has a launch ramp.

The 'only' public boat launch is Newport Dunes!!!
There is a freshwater rinse area, but take lots of Quarters for it...
There may be RV camping at the same location???

Might give em a call....

Tackle....
Some freshwater bass gear will do fine. Drop shot, lead head/shakey's & Carolina rigs (Worms, flukes & grubs), even spinner baits & bass creatures & jigs..
4# & 6# for worming, up to 12# for hard baits..
Trolling 10' deep divers and some shallower Rapala's & Lucky Craft will get ya on some fish also...

Good luck & have fun.....
