Man! that last fish must have been quite a fighter on that longrod. How do you like not having any leverage while fighting those chunks in a tube? Just awesome bro!

I've been doing the tube thing so long I don't even notice leverage thing. Actually I'm not really sure what it means lol. I think the tube even helps as I can kick and strip to keep pressure on the fish. Those flies are ground barbless hooks any slack and they're gone.

Very cool fishes man.
It takes some serious patience to get them on the fly like Flying does!
I gave it a shot yesterday and got skunked
Keep up the good work dude. Maybe I'll meet you out there next week for another lesson

Judging by the way you cut your pics off on the upper half, I'd say that you have proved the theory that the world is indeed flat because I can't see anything beyond the water. Is it scary fishing so close to the edge of the world???

Well we all have patience for different things. Theres no way I could stand around a stream trying to get a trout to hit a dry or work a spot for bass with different baits to see what they want. Nowadays I go more for tubing than fishing so as long as I'm moving I can wait forever for any fish to hit that one fly.
We need to hook up in the tubes for sure.I'd like to try out some new spots you were talking about. I don't have very much patience for trying out new spots on my own.

You just have to be very aware of where you are. They don't have the edge marked very well with buoys but I have it on GPS so I feel OK out there. Theres a lot of bigger fish on the other side but I dare not cross the buoy line as the current gets a lot stronger and will suck you right over.
