Tried again to see if I could get the Stripers to bite. Got there around 5:30am. Lots of cars in front of me already. First stop was the lake store
to pick up so Sardines....

Lots of people at ramp 2. I didn't see anyone on fish. Wait, maybe one person...

I soak bait for about an hour before I decide to work the shore with my trout spinner. Couldn't get anything to hit it but I did see a 8lber lmb
cruisin real close to shore in this cove...

Nice day out, wish there was fish though. Did get a few bites but no takers. Left around noon with the stripe on my back. I'm going to target a different species this time, at a different lake. I have to catch something this weekend or I will burst like a bubble....lol.....
Til' next time.....

Casty, Skinner is a tuff lake to fish from shore or boat. At least you went out and tried your best. You will get them ( Striper ) next time. Thanks for the report and nice pics.
