Fished the Spitfire both days over the weekend. Saturday we had a nice pick on the groupers in the morning, with some reds, chuckleheads, and yellowtail rockfish. At one time, the whole boat was bent. We continued working further north, where we had a nice stop for some really big boscos. We also had the usual belindas and stuff like that, but it was a really nice day. Jackpot went to Spitfire regular Robert with a big grouper.

On Sunday, we fished closer to home, and had a nice pick on the groupers, had some reds, chuckleheads, boscos, chilis, belindas, and others. Fishing was a bit slower, but we did get some quality fish as well. Jackpot went to Spitfire regular Vinnie's uncle Ernie with a nice big grouper. All in all, it was a great weekend out on the water. Good times, good fishing!

Hi Jackpot Jimmy,

Nice fishys ..... glad you were able to get out two days. You shoulda got the JP the second day as you had to have had a handle on the bite !! ;)

Wolf Eels must be coming in shallow or roaming around looking for girl or boyfriends as there are sure a lot of them caught around this time of year ... hummm maybe a little early this year actually. Not Ratfish .... seeing those guy around this time too !!

How about the Cuda counts we're seeing down the line. Gonna be a couple of days of the first slew of logs coming tru pretty soon I'll bet !! Be ready Freddy .... er ... Jimmy !
