Me, Seng, his brothers and his friends got to the lake late (03/27/09). We fished for about an hour. Crappies start attacking us left and right B4 sunset. I lost a couple of hit but managed to land 7 of them. The biggest one I caught was 1.8 lb and the rest of them about 1 lb or lest..lol.. Thanks to all the Pros. for taking me out there and showed me how to fish for crappies. And also, thanks to Scott for showing me how to retrieve the jig from getting stuck in the rocks. Hopefully, I have a chance to go out there with all of you again soon..lol..

Sorry guys, I thought about letting this female go but at first I couldn't tell if its either male or female. Next time, I'll try to pay close attention to it. So, in the future we have more crappies to fish.

Thanks for reading!!!!

Among us gringo's crappie is the best eating fish there is. Light batter, pan fried. Save all that garnish for bonito or the carp.

You should go to Elsinore Lake. Crappie start biting early in the morning and late evenning at the Private Launch Ramp. Or you could try Lake Perris around Lot #5. Good luck out there bro...lol...

I'm happy for those fishermans out there that could catch fish. I don't care what kind of fish they keep or how many they're going to keep as long as they follow the rules. I'm ok with that! Have a good day and fun fishing!
