Finally had a chance to fish the Salton Sea again. Got there around 7:30am and saw there were very little people fishing the jetty and thought we were in luck. Winds stayed throughout the day, wasn't bad but made for the sloppy day (my chair got blown in the water).
The conditions looked good, especially the fact that there weren't that many people there. But, one thing failed....the fish weren't biting. My brother and I caught a few, no monsters, so it wasn't an all out skunk. People at the point of the jetty caught only two in the same amount of time.
We left around 3:00ish and headed for the 2 plus hours ride back home. Maybe the slaying is officially over...but, still beats a day at work.
