Hey guys,
If some one can lead me in the right direction.
I forget, do we so cal peeps have to purchase the Ocean Enhancement stamp to fish the ocean?:Confused:

You also don't need one from a public jetty.

I did have the stamp...
I just dont remember if it was required.
We are south of Santa Barbara County, therefore the ocean enhancement stamp is required.
"Allows an angler to fish in ocean waters south of Point Arguello (Santa Barbara County). An Ocean Enhancement Stamp is not required when fishing under the authority of a One or Two-Day Sport Fishing License."

Yeah if you buy your one or two day at wally world, make sure they dont tell you that you need one. I know some folks that the people at wally world told them they needed them on one day license.

Those folks at wally world don't know their arse from a hole in the ground. I was fishing in NB one time and we got checked and one of the guys on the dock didn't have the stamp. The cop asked him where he bought his license and he said wally world and the cop said "That figures, that those idiots never tell people that they need the stamp. Just stop fishing and go buy one, I won't write you up since you bought it there."

Wally world people are idiots. I bought a one day for my girl, and the clerk didn't fill in the date. He told me to write in the date that I want to use it. It worked out cause something came uop and we couldn't go the day we planned.
