Looking to beat the skunk this weekend. Been a couple of weeks since I have had any sucess fishing. So I was thinking of trying lake Elsinore for some crappie/catfish action. Also looking at DVL or Skinner. I was thinking of striper from the shore maybe some crappie. Never tried Striper fishing before. Any ways it looks like it is iffy on both accounts from most reports. If you have fished either of these lakes or just some general advice is appreciated.

Oh for those interested the bite at Henshaw is pretty tough unless you fish with minnows. Also if you go look for folks using goldfish I caught 3 the other weekend and had to get the lake personel involved.
