I remember driving past a section that goes underneath PCH and looks like a real calm lagoon sort of thing. I think it is near Sunset Beach. Does any one know exactly where to fish, what to use, and what types of fish are there? I might be heading down there some time this week.

Your probubly reffering to the reserve. Its good in the summer sometimes .we mainly catch diamond tubouts by the load.sometimes we get lucky and get a halibut ,bass ,yellow fin croaker and sargo.its hit, and miss.mostly. We dont fish it till its a little warmer.as far as perch,i here tell its good by the queen mary ,and around that general area.

Are you talking about the Bolsa Chica Jetty or the Bolsa Chica Wetlands area right on warner and PCH? Either way you'll catch some fish, especially at the jetty. But it is definately better in the summer.
