South Lake used to look like this??? This was taken in 2001. I wonder if the water will ever get back up there. Fishing was awesome back then.

I fished South Lake for the first time last September. The water level was not the high. With this drought we are in could be a while before the water gets that high again. Thanks for the post.

I was back there in 2007 and the lake was probably 80 feet lower than that picture. What a difference six years makes.... It was quite the hike just to get down to the water to fish.
