It really depends what kinda of fish you're going to be targeting and the presentation you will be using.

I see you edited your description, with the fact that you are going for largemouth bass.

(Un)fortunately, fishing for bass can be done in various ways.

The first thing I'd do is look at your rod and your reel and see what line it is rated for.

The second thing I'd do is investigate what type of presentations you are going to be trying to use to catch some of these largemouth bass. Will you be drop shotting? Texas rigging worms? Throwing crankbaits or blades? Throwing frogs in the muck? Flipping big jigs in the stick ups? Ripping jerkbaits through grass? Throwing small swimbaits? Fishing football jigs deep? Are you going shore fishing? Fishing from a boat? etc, etc....

(These are some of the questions you should ask before buying any new rod and reel, personally)

But, to be general, I'd string that bad boy up with 8# to 10# test of your choice (Maxima, PLine, etc) and you'll be on your way.

if your fishing like the wood or perris, cashtake and etc I would just put 10 lb floro on it and roll for most apps

then your set up for tx rig, 1/4-1/2oz jigs, jerk baits, spinner baits, crank baits even a light c/r rig/ mojo rig, h*ll you could even get away with using a weightless senko on it
