I havn't tried it out yet but I ran into this guy the other day and we started talkin fishing he was from "down south" as he said. He was telling me when using chicken livers to buy some rock salt and soak them in it for 3 days before fishing (in the fridge). This will toughen them up and help them stay on the hook. He said he's caught 7 fish on the same piece. Hope this helps. I havnt tried it yet. But let me know how it works.
