woke up bright early in the morning to test out the gill bite...its been hot the last couple days so i figure there will be some action...i woke up to gloomy day thinking about going back to sleep but my panfish partner was already on his way so said WTH....got my UL ready and off we go...got there in less than an hour and we picked up a rental at around 7am.....we hit up a couple coves and it was very slow and it was getting very cold...almost threw in the towel but we had one more cove to hit up.....so we gave it a try and got hit right away and i knew it will be WFO as soon as the first pig was pulled up....for two hours straight we were pulling up some very huge gills.....got tired and the bite slowed down so we called it quit at around 430

I was there I think wednesday of last week. Lots of bedding bass and the gills were eveywhere. They were all small, even the big ones I caught were small by BG standards. Any Large models been caught?

Where are the pix?? What lake??? Anyone can post showing there rod bending over. That pix look like DVL. The whole point of a forum is the share were hot spot is at. Even though people know of the spot it's still take skill to catch the fish!!! So next time be a friend and post what lake. Once I find my old camera I will post my 300+ gill from DVL.
