sorry if I don't have the last guys name right , didn't get to talk to him much. we got there about 6PM , launched and got to the wall about 6:30PM conditions were nice, but the wind didn't let down all night. we started following DUC on the outside, we lasted about 5 minutes, NO TROLLING MOTOR  :wall: we were getting tossed around too much, said goodbye to the fellas and came inside for a much more comfortable fishing.

we caught a total of 41 fish, with alot of mix, mostly calicos, sandbass, I got 2 cabezons and Glenn GOT A 17lbs Batray that gave him a work out on the bass rod with the little corsair reel, we thought he was on a white seabass. He even got a sea urchin, TRYING TO MAKE YOUR OWN UNIBUTTER GLENN ???

Anyways enough talking , here are the pics, I'll let Duc update the report later with his story.

You've got to love the way the big boys come out after dark!!

Hey, I see the lights on Duc's boat but where are yours? Those rocks hurt when you can't see them. I don't have lights on my boat either, but I plan to change that soon.

Hi dschmaltz,

Check out the newer LED'ed stuff as they now have lots of power and close to 260 degree illumination. for running light and tractor beams!

DIY possible too! Looooooow power consumption.

Good job on the fish!!! (& urchin).... Great pics! You guys have me stoked to try some night fishing in the bays down here.

Do you use the green submersible led lights? White above the water lights? Any advice appreciated... thanks.

The only time you would need it would be to look for kelp so that you do not cast into them. LOL
