Met up with my bass buddy John today for some fun fishin. We launched at 10 this morning, and headed to Cachuma bay. Lots of bedding fish, and the senko ruled. We worked down the bank, and I took this pic.

A very nice day on the water today, with lots of action, and spring in full swing. We got to the back, and the carp were in full spawn mode, pushing the females on to the bank, and making a lot of commotion.

John messed with trying to hang one of these beasts, some pushing 30 pounds, but it wasn't in the cards today, so we moved on down to the east end.

John was telling me he got some on the mouse yesterday, and so he started throwing it a bit, and wamm!! nice largie to the boat.

We are getting into magic time, and the last hour was non stop biting bass, both smallies and largemouth. I dropshotted, and John fished a jig, for at least 20 more fish today. It was a blast to wack em together, laughing and joking around, and I'm very excited for the upcoming spring bite this year.
