thats not a parana i think its called a tiger fish. or something else but def not a pirana, this pic is old to i think i saw some one say the same thing about this pic a year ago

It's not fake, it is a large AFRICAN Tiger fish. They get even larger than that though. I have seen a fishing show where those were targeted. Very difficult to hook due to the hard lining in the mouth. I also had a few of them (one at a time!) in my youth when I use to have an aquarium at home and I use to work at an importer where those things would come through into our country for retail. It was "fun" to watch them chew up a goldfish feeder!

To help clear things up, Pirahnas come from SOUTH AMERICA. Tiger fish come from AFRICA.
