Cachuma crappie bonanza!

After last week's "tease taster", CrappiemonsterMike went into serious withdrawl's, fretted and franted on the phone with me, "when are we going fishing again?". The event occured today, and I have the "Little Dude" back in the water where she belong's. Seeing how our recon mission last week located the zone, I was confident we could capitalize on the slabs, and I told Mike to take his time getting up here. Meanwhile, Mike had vision's of sugar plum slabzilla's in his dreams, and showed up early because, slaying is a way of life, and you can't catch em with yer line out of the water. So, we each had our camera's, and I took pic's of Mike catching, and he took pic's of me. Since it's my turn to post, he'll have to add to this, since they are all of him. The morning produced about six fish, and we headed up to the grill for cheeseburger's. I told him, the afternoon bite will be great, and I didn't lie. Many single's, quite a few double's, and even a triple hookup for today, with roughly forty fish with sore lip's back in the lake afterwards. Big fish was probably 2.5, and the average was over a pound each. Enjoy the pics.
