Decide to shoot out to the BU to try out one of
my new A.O.s
Waves were high, so did not target Hali,s
but did not do too bad for such a short
session!!!
Been doing a lot of Re-Con in the BU area
for the upcoming summer season!!! Found a lot
of what looks like would be consistant Hali structured
spots on the low tide. (Large boilers with lots of sand)
etc. but have not proved them out yet!!! But can't
wait till summer and the right conditions.!!!
My frustration is that it is hard for me to just not go
to the proven Piggy spots I know!!!
Yet to me, finding new areas and nailin -em is sometimes
better than just goin to the proven Piggy spot 90% of the
time like I did last summer!!! Now Hali's are a
whole different story!!! in the BU area.
Unless your "Wingnut" goin to Santa Barbara:ROFL::ROFL:
Halibutt is a little more difficult to come by!!!

Great Job out there. What is the BU Area? I usually fish the OC beaches typically from Newport to Bolsa Chica but have yet to catch my first Pig Perch. Congrats and thanks for sharing.
