i have been bassfishing since i was 8 and i always wondered whats the difference between florida strain and northern strain. i know florida get bigger but if i catch either one how can i tell which one is which.

I was fishing northern strain bass in Canada last year, and when you land a 2-3 lb fish, it's considered big lol. They are basically identical other than size.

i just google it and they siad that northern strain get 16+ lbs and florida get 20+lbs but they also said the FLorida strain are harder to catchbut idk if that s true so any info guys will do thanks.
