3/10 and 3/11 report.

Fished on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Tuesday brought my son (3). Got to the lake around 0800 and started out at the campground over by the launch ramp. Got 1 real quick on white power bait. Then headed over to the kids pods for 1 more.

Put the boat in the water then and trolled around for nothing for and hour or two. Back to the area by the launch ramp to get the boat back on the truck and got 1 more. Then back to the kids pond for 1 more. Total 4 for the day 3/10
When I got home I realized that I had nothing going on on Wednesday 3/11 so left everything in the truck. Got to the lake at 0630 and went back to the campground area to launch the boat. Put a rod out with white power bait while getting things ready got 1. Put the boat in and trolled down towards the dam, lots of meter marks and saw a few boils between woody's point and catfish cove, anchored up for nothing.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/dixoncider/0311091244.jpg
Pulled anchor and started trolling again towards the dam. Found and area of bait and got 3 lost 3 more. Went over to trout island and got 1 and lost 1 there, had it all to myself.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/dixoncider/0311091134.jpg

All in all it was a fun 2 days at lake Irvine.

He is not scared of a little slime that's for sure. I froze that fish whole because he wanted to have it for later? not sure what his plans are.
