Pvr 2/27/09 - 3/1/09

Here are some pictures of my buddies and I at PVR and Owens River. Left the house on Friday 2/27 and got up to PVR early. Set up camp and headed out. Caught fish on chunky cheese Power Bait, worms, little jigs and Thomas B's. Crazy fishing at PVR with 50 to 75 c/r each day per person. Kept a few for dinner which were tasty. Simple butter, lemon, rosemary, salt/ pepper. I also had to make my special salsa for our Carne Asada, Skewers and Deer sausauge. Even got a glimpse of some bald eagles. Headed out to the river on the other side of the rock quarry. Not a ton of fish caught but they were quality browns. Had a good time and can't wait to get up to South Lake, Blue Lake and Sabrina.

GOOD CATCH and nice death grip on those fish , ha The spot at PVR near the launch ramp is the same place a group of guys were killinem on sat. now iam hungry after seeing that carne . thanks for the report .

I agree w/ diamondbear... great catch, those are some quality fish...nice browns and bows. gotta love PVR. BUT you do need to loosen up that death grip on your fish :EyePop: dont want to hurt them before the release. try to cradle them instead. :Wink:
