Hey everyone! I, my friend and my dad decided to go fishing at LNL since they stocked last night. We got their around 730 and all the fishing spots were taken. We walked around to find a spot and about 8am we found a spot near the damn. we set the lines and like 5mins later i land the first one for the next 3hrs we caught 14 lightning trout’s and 1 rainbow. by 1030ish we were done. Here is pics of us showing off the fish

Congrats on the slay today. I was there also. It was unbelievably crowded for a Tuesday, but that has been the MO for LNL. A lot of people either not working or calling in sick because it was packed like a weekend. My buddy and I fished the flats and both caught our limits. Everyone around us caught fish. In order to be successful there you have to hit it around stocking day because I don't think there will be many fish left for the weekend. If you can't get there during the week, I am sure it will be slim pickings by Sat. There were so many fish taken out of that lake today and with around 2000 lbs being stocked it doesn't take long before the fish are long gone. If you are lucky enough to go on a Tues or Wed, it is definitely a Wide Open fishing day. I am glad to see you had success by the damn. It is nice to know that you could catch fish from anywhere in the lake. There must have been at least 60-70 cars in line by 5:30 am.
