I'm gonna make this a little short, cause i'm a bit tired. Woke up at 2:30 and got to the lake a little after 3:30am, i was about 8th in line. Tried to sleep and couldn't. Got to the lake and didn't want to fight for a spot at the launch ramp of the point so i hit my spot across from the fish cleaning station. I did move a little over to the left, rather than fishing right next to the trees by the water. Anyways, had my lines in the water in record time. Nothing for about 20 minutes, other people were catching these golden trout A,K.A lighting trout. Yes, they are lighting trout, not real goldens. Anyways in 5 minutes it was wide open for at least 2 hours. the guy 2 spaces over from me had 10 fish by 10am or so. Nice average fish, the guy between us had 10 by 11:30am or so. I had 9 by 12:30pm I waited for the 10th and it never came. But technecally i caught 10 cause a small 6incher fell out of my hands and into the water when i was triing to unhook him, ooooopppppsssss!!!! Oh well, my records say that i had my 10. Best fish weighted in at 4.4lbs and it was bright. Nice fight too, he didn't give up easily. Everyone i seen had at least 3 or 4 fish. The point and the launch ramp were going off as usual. Here's some of the pics of the day. One of my dog squinting in the sun, a few of the lunker and a couple tailgate shots. Oh any by the way i seen many big lightnings, many 3's a few 4's and 1 or 2 5's. Not to many bows, i got 1, but they were few and far between.
