Late Report 2-28

[Hog Caller]

Sorry about the late report I've been having computer issues.
Jimmy landed these two back to back within 20 minutes. That's what happens when a bass fisherman doesn't catch any bass and throws big ***** crankbaits on 20 lb. flouro just to see what happens. We caught a couple around 2- 3 lbs. but hardly seemed photo worthy after these two. Caught (2) 1.5 pound bass as well. All fish caught on shad cranks.

The pink meat one is a Steelhead. It is very tasty .

Both of the large ones had the salmon colored meat and are extremly tasty.
Can you eat them as sushi?

Maybe I should become more focused on bassing so I can catch larger trout! Thosse fillets look awesome, I'd prolly pass on eating it raw as freshwater fish tend to have more worms, although I'm sure you would be fine....I'd rather hit the local sushi bar myself :Wink:
