Wow! The quality of fish has really gone down out there. I use to fish out there about 6 or 7 years ago. We did not catch too many fish that size. Most of the fish were 3-4 lbs, that had heads on them that were of a 5-7 lber. Glad to see they are still in there though, and that they are healthy. The fish we use to catch didn't look too good. If you're catching them that big, the bigger models are there!

We were out in the boat once and saw a bass that had to have been pushing 15 lbs!

Anyway, great job guys! I have a buddy that lives out there too! Guess I should give him a call and get passes and the gate code!

Very cool guys. Would have been nice to be in a position to have joined you. Those fish certainly are good looking.

Looks like the first spot we fished when we went was a good spot this time, Brent.

I bet the secret to a fatty there would be some type of boat/flotation device and sneak up on the reed beds from the outside. That's what works at Truxton.

Monkey didn't help either on the tackle losing. no float tubs says right on the pass so I guess tubes would be ok?
