I now officially hate the Fred Hall Show...If my mom finds out how much I
spent today for everything she is going to pop a blood vessel.
Saw a lot of nice things today, but the "deals" really weren't there. As
mentioned earlier, it was about 60%-70% saltwater. Saw just about anything
and everything. Saw a lot of cool people today including Mitz, Adrian, John
Pawlak, and Brian Shaw. I didn't expect to buy much, but I bought a few
"necesities". Came home with a nice Phenix Visor, Phenix Hat, Phenix Black
Diamond 868MH blank, ton of Big Hammer swimmies, couple Megabait
Bucktails, Glow Nitro Worms, Wilderness Systems seat, and tons of stickers
and other misc goodies. Set back a few bills, but feeling great!
If you haven't handled the Phenix blanks then you NEED to. There are the
BEST saltwater blanks I have ever felt. My goal this year is to bounce a
tuna....Now, to complement my blank, I'm gonna have to spend another
bill on components and another two bills for an MXJ...N.C.B...
Was a great experience and if you haven't gone it's not too late. My
only regret is not buying any Basstrix swimmies. I told myself before
the show that I wasn't going to buy any if there weren't any specials
so I didn't. Kinda regret it but whatever. Just means I have to make
a trip to Sav-on to grab them.
