Sup fellas! Just got cleaned up after my 3/4 trip with some buddies. The Freelance was chartered out today so the Western Pride took over the 3/4 day trip.

Most of the trip we fished for cudas and did okay. Its weird, I was cuda fishing last Thursday and the same jigs I used to catch cudas could not buy a bite today. Live bait was the ticket for me. After cuda fishing we tried for some reds and caught my first one. Bite was slow with the reds so the capt. decided to target sculpins. The bite was satisfactory for most of the day except when we anchored down on a bunch of cudas that was wide open for about 30 minutes.

On a side note, I'm loving my new Sealine 20 matched with a Teramar! This is now my favorite setup. I can't wait to get out there and use it again.

Thanks guys! By the way, my buddy that went with me won the JP with his first ever cuda. LOL, I'm jealous cause I've never won the JP. I'm not taking that fool with me anymore!
