Not sure what your really asking but yes rockfish season is officially open. Lingcod's are still closed until April 1.

Yeah man, it is rockfish season!! Where do you plan on fishing?? Youll need a rod rated at least 20-30, a minimum of a Penn Jigmaster, loaded with at least 25 lb test. Hooks 2-3/0, torpedo sinkers 6-12, and some swivels. Thats just the basics, and it depends on WHERE you decide to go fishing Kali!!
