Hey guys I'm gonna go try fishing for trouts for my first time. Can you guys give me some tips or show me how you would tie on the hook and stuff to fish with the inflated nightcrawler. Its my first time and i got no idea how to fish for them. Any tips would be nice. Thx

This covers the basics pretty well. Once you figure out what techniques you like, there is a lot more information that you can learn to excel at it. Until then, this will get you started.

If you are willing to drop money on a top of the line set up from the get go, I would pick up a Phenix 802 and Saros 1000. You don't need expensive rods for bait fishing, but a high end rod, like the Phenix, makes a world of difference when fishing artificials. It is very sensitive and will handle all your lure needs from 1/16oz mini jigs to 1/6oz Thomas Buoyants.
