Went to the Pudd to try my new home made d\s worm. I was on the east shore for about two hours with nothing. Went over to the cove next and on the first cast whamo whamo whamo. This was my first fish of the year and the way I caught it you would have thought this was the first fish in my life. "Excitement" a little pump of the fist, yelled out yeah and tripped over my own two feet. The fish was 2lbs 6 oz not bad for my first fish of the year. Going out again tommarow for some more Pudd Bass action.

Nice job on the "1st" of many on the year. Always great to get the blood flowing and the fist a-pumping with a nice catch. Thanks for the update and the pics.

Dont worry, DFG presence is gonna be solid as we just got 2 new wardens this year. great thing is theyre using their own (unmarked) cars so poachers wont be able to see them coming. WTG DFG!!
