This is my version of what happened in NPH!!!!!

There were about 4 different options on who and what we were all going to do to for this assault. Some names included were Arthur(Wingnut) and I from the boat and Mike (Bones) and (Bam Bam) or Lucas(Big Red) from shore!!!!

The Pm's were going back and forth and it came down to a late call to my partner Eddie(HESBROS) to fill out the trio on the boat and unfortunately we had nobody to ferry around the harbor and the battle between us and the on shore guys was out the door!!!

I had MR. Flattie and Mr. Spotted Fever coming on board!!

So we arrived and I had a to figure out how to put 2 guys with 2 different plans on the as to the target fish on the spots equally.

As I was attempting to tend the boat duties at launch Eddie was coaching Arthur on the possibilities at the launch!!!!

So last weeks Mr. Stinky decided to get on the board early with a very fine Spottie!!!!!

So I had a tremendous day guiding these 2 friends and on occasion put one on the boat to show them they were there!!!!

Eddies big catch of the day was retrieving my Rig from the bottom of the harbor!!

You all will figure it out soon enough you too will loose you grip on your rod!!!!!

Oh!!!!!
Here is my parting shot!!!!

Arthur got the last Dance of the Day.

Her name is ROXY!!!!!!

Very nice report Steve! I didn't know that you took that many pictures... I thought that Eddie was the designated photographer for the day.
Just kidding Eddie, you would have caught a lot more fish if you didn't waste all your time retying your 6lb test after all those break offs.

Steve, I will say it again... you are a class act my friend, thanks for putting us first while we were on board your vessel.

I was so happy that Eddie recovered your rig! :Big Grin: I was just about to offer diving in to get it... we were only in like eight feet of water.

Mike (Bones) and the Pirate Crew really missed out on Sunday. I spoke to Mike today and they were all kicking themselves for not coming. :Envious:

And yeah, what's up with all these Sharks always trying to take a bite out of me?!? Is it Poseidon's way of saying hello?

Lastly, what can I say about Roxy... I seem to have that kind of effect on women of all kinds... :Big Smile:

Awesome report Steve!
I like the other viewpoint (comical) side of the day!
I second Arthur when he said you are one class act my friend.
I sense that Eddie might be upgrading to at least 8lb flourocarbon if not 10lb to stick those line shy spotties and not breakoff. :Head Bang: I used to use 6lb mono for LMB all of the time and got bit alot more but I would get broke off all of the time if I had to button down on the drag to horse the fish away from structure. 10lb flourocarbon solved that problem real fast.
Just out of curriousity....I know Arthur dropshotted for most of the day......Do you and Eddie dropshot very often? I love to work a slow dropshot during the winter months when the fish aren't very aggressive. It might just be me but I think it makes sense to slow down and entice the fish to hit a bit more rather that only stick the really aggressive feeders that are willing to chase a bait.
Just thinking out loud....I'm no expert on spotties that's for sure but if they are like LMB in the freshwater during the winter it would make sense.I know for sure that slow and steady is the way to go for flatties in the winter months.

Boy.....Your Roxy is either wearing pumps or Arthur is shrinking a little more every day....LOL
I wonder what she is whispering in Arthurs ear :Secret:
Maybe she heard how GOOD Art's moms eggrolls are!

Yeah....I'm still kicking myself in the azzzzzzzzz.......but..........I've done my homework on google earth....Used my noodle so to speak and plan to hit up the harbor at greylight on sunday. Hope the weather stays north and the water conditions don't get really screwed up by then. Some sunshine would actually be nice also. Just got to decide if I'm going to walk the area or tube the place.
Thanks for the report Steve.....I sent you my number. If you have a chance give me a call before sunday.
