Had a few hours Saturday afternoon and my 9yo wanted to fish. Decided to go see how DVL was doing. It was HOT!!!!! The weather that is. We hiked over to the East Dam and I wanted to fish the corner right by the dam put some one was set up in the corner. We hiked all the way along the shore from the east dam to the Marina cove for :Skunk:. We did see 6 fish cruising in the shallows in the East dam cove but could not get them to bite. Would have saw more fish if I did not grab the NON POLORIZED sunglasses :Nut Kick:. We threw the kitchen sink out there including d/s multiple flavors, underspin, scrounger heads, crank baits all for nuttin. There was zero wind for most of the time. Parking $7-Fishing $6- Spending afternoon with son PRICELESS Here are a few pics of the lake water levels....

hiking around looks fun but try riding a bike the 22 miles trail around the lk. , now thats alot easier then it seems and what a veiw of the different parts of the low water areas .
