I went out and fished for a couple hours this morning in the Santa Monica Bay, aboard my 15ft aluminum Duroboat "Red Drum”, with wanna be comic lyricist, world class fishing addict and charter member of IECFFFFF, Jason “jscrib”. We ended the morning laughing and catching 2 Calico Bass, 12 Sand Bass, 1 Lingcod and a Brown Rockfish.

All fish caught using Basstrix and BH swim baits and VS jig heads.

Weather and sea conditions were epic, wish I could’ve stayed out longer. I can’t wait to go again.

Here some pics.

An hour after high tide or an hour after low tide. That is when you have the most water movement and the strongest solunar pull. That is what the celestial function on my GPS indicates and that is what the guy down at the bait receiver also confirms.

I know why you catch so many fish Vince... it's because you wear Calico camo. Nice day on the water guys, keep up the great work.
