Great Times with Friends at Jess 2/28/09

Yamafish and I arrived at the lake shortly after 5 am and were surprised to find we were first in line!

Shortly after we were done putting our items in line Man Vs Wild arrived. Nice to see you again Tony! Team 57 in the front of the line!

We ended up on the log shore of Lake 3 with Man Vs Wild and his friend, Eat Sleep Fish and his friend, Nice to meet you guys!

Yamafish and I unfortunately were skunked (think we need to start fishing more to get our mojo working again!) However, our Team 57 friends were able to catch one each before we left. Hope you guys were able to catch more before you left! YF and I had to drive to Orange County to deliver a Rodhogg :Big Grin:

Your fish was just a Toad! Really nice - just under 5lbs!

MVW - Tony / Best of times as always up there. It's too bad the bite was not stronger in the am. LF & I had to leave to run to O/C to deliver some Rodhogg products. Your fish was nice! Nice colors and full tail :Big Grin:

Thanks Ladyfish! I would have loved to have been there! Jess gets jealous when we don't give her consistent love and will hold out on us if she feels neglected.
I keep telling people that the Jess is not a place where you just shoot fish in a barrel. It is a real pay lake, that just happens to be very consistent with stocking fish!
You and Yama will "score" next time!

LadyFish - Thanks for the report and pics. Nicely read. Too bad about the skunk, you'll get 'em next time. A pleasure meeting and fishing with you. I gotta get one of those rod holders from the Fred Hall Show, I'll be there on Sunday. Hope we can get that event going soon, before it gets too hot out there.

YamaFish - Pleasure meeting you and fishing with you, you'll punk the skunk next time out bro. The bite did get a bit better after about 2pm. I ended up with 3, and my buddy had 3 also. We also plucked a couple out of the Angling Pond before we left, just so we can go home with 5 each.

ManvsWild - Nice day out on the lake fishing and chatting. Pleasure meeting you Tony. Too bad about the one that came off at shore, same thing happened with me on one of them. If that was a slow day, I wonder what a good day out there is like. lol I saw you at In n Out after but I was at the drive through and didn't get a chance to holler inside through the window. haha

Can't wait to get back out to that lake. That 4 lb 15 oz fish put up one hell of a fight and was full of eggs when I brought her home, which is weird because it had a hookjaw...maybe it was a gay fish...who knows. :ROFL:
