Feet hit the sand at Broad beach about 6am.
Started looking for the crabbies first thing,
but could not find any!!! Also did not catch
anything on the Crack or 2in. Gulp swimming mullet!!!

Moved to a new area for me that was a little
north of Trancas and hooked into a couple of decent
ones with a few dinks, not pic.ed!!
After casting for a mile and back, for nothing for awhile,
Decide to try South Bu area by the Pier, nothing also!!!:Rolls Eyes:
Did not see one fisherman from Trancas side to the Bu-Pier
area !!! Guess they knew better!!!
Did see two dudes,(besides the chart house guy)
at the "Getty" beach area, one throwing the LC, and
one throwing the BH-63 for nothing!!!
SO!!! that should tell you the the catchin from the
BU coast was not that great today!!!
Waters were clear all the way from Trancas to Getty,
with no serious weed problem, 1-2 ft.Waves, no current problems,
but water was cold!!!

My dad and I were the two dudes you saw. We enjoyed talking to you, and we both got the big fat skunk! The fishing was slow today, so it's good that you managed to get some nice perch.

Conditions looks a lot better than how it was last weekend. Still a little slow it sounds like... way to hang in there and got some nice slabs. Hopefully, I'll have a half way decent report to post tomorrow.

Based on the pictures the wind and surf conditions looked great for throwing the hard baits and the water clarity looked good for fishing bass but less than perfect for halibut. I've had success with the flat fish in darker water then that though. Thanks for the report. If I don't decide to go to check out the OC coast then I will probably be out looking around the malibu area early tomorrow morning.
