I saw the schedule for the Grunion run for this coming weekend and This is my first time going to a grunion run and i would like to know which beach do the grunions usually show up around? I am planning on going to cabrillo beach, Does anyone know what time cabrillo beach close?
Any suggestion?

dont remember all the beaches but i usually hit up seal beach, the right side of the pier is usually good. go the 2nd hour of the run. dont shine your lights in the water you'll scare them away and stay away from the water as well. you'll see a few come up and then go back in, those first few are scouts and if you catch them, the rest wont come up. good luck.

All I know is when the Aquarium puts on their grunion events, the beach is open until the run is over.
