T/o afterwork terrorizing the trout

WENT UP THE HWY VERY EARLY THURS TO DO SOME WORK IN INDY, GOT THERE TOOK CARE OF BUISNESS ,THEN HAULED UP TO THE FISHING HOLE ON THE WAY THERE JOSH TOLD ME HIS GRANNY WHOES ALSO HIS NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR ASKED FOR SOME FISH , SO I TOLD HIM IT WAS ON US TO KILL SOME NICE ONES, GOT TO THE RES TO FIND A FULL PARKING LOT,WE GOT ARE STUFF AND HEADED DOWN TO THE SPOT ,GOT THERE TO SEE NO ONE WAS ON IT,GOT DOWN TO THE WATER AND I WENT TO WORK, THE BIG FISH WERE HITTING REALLY HARD AND REALLY FAST I HAD TO PLAY CLOSE ATTENTION ,THEY WORKED ME FOR THE FIRST HOUR THEN I DIALED IN AND STARTED SLAYING JOSH WAS ON THE WRONG SPOT BUT IF HES CATCHING AND HAVING FUN I DONT MESS WITH HIM, ONE GOOD THING WAS I FORGOT MY NET BUT JOSH HAD ONE OF MY OLD HAND ME DOWNS SO THAT MADE IT ALOT EASIER TO GET THE BIG ONES IN, JOSH CAUGHT ONE NICE BROWN ,AND I GOT A COUPLE LITTLE ONES AT THE MEAT GRINDER SPOT ON THE WAY BACK TO THE TRUCK. TODAY THEY WANTED THE PINK MALLOWS WITH A PINK POWERWORM TAIL,THEY ALSO LIKED THE YELLOW MALLOWS WITH A CRAWLER TAIL, JOSH WAS USING THE REG STUFF BUT IT DIDNT WORK AS GOOD AS WHAT I WAS USING ,I THINK IT WAS THE OLD SHOW THEM SOMETHING DIFFERENT DEAL GOING ON, JOSH WAS STILL HAPPY HE GOT TO SIT AND DRINK HIS BEER AND HAVE ALL THE ACTION HE WANTED. THE RES IS REALLY PRIMED FOR THERE DERBY COMING UP JOSH AND HIS FRIENDS ARE GOING BUT IM TOO BUSY WTH TO MANY OTHER THING TO GO, I WISHED I COULD THEN I COULD SEE SOME OF MY NATIVE FRIENDS AT THE RAFFLE AND SMACK SIERRA SMITTY AROUND A LITTLE , SORRY JARED I KNOW YOURE ALREADY MAD AT ME,MAYBE I WILL SEE HIM AND MORE FNN PEOPLE AT THE FRED HALL NEXT WEEKEND,,,,,t/o

TroutOnly, your reports never cease to amaze me with the variety and beauty of the fish you catch. I can only hope to have the same success when I try Bishop/PVR for the first time this summer.

Nice job as always my friend - good to hear you're giving those plastics a try. There are a ton of big fish in there right now and there's going to be a ton more put in for the derby....should make for an epic remainder of the spring at PVR.
