Hey Guys/Gals,

I have a few more weeks before I return to work and was wondering if anyone could share a few decent flat land or dock spots down at the harbors/beaches that i can take my Grandson for some weekday fishing? As you know I had hip replacement recently and would like some spots that are easy to get to and we could catch anything that bites.
We've fished at a marina before and I just love the salt bite.

Any suggestions would be cool.
Feel free to PM me.

Thanks.

Newport Harbor - On the peninsula 19th St. dock, 15th St. dock, Fernando St. dock, Washington St. dock (right in the middle of the "Fun Zone" if you want a ferris wheel ride after), "M" St. dock. On Balboa Island - Park at E. Bay Front dock, Coral at S. Bay Front dock, Opal at S. Bay Front dock, Emerald at N. Bay Front dock, Sapphire at N. Bay Front Dock. All public docks, all free to fish on, most have good street parking around (this time of year, not so in the summer) but watch the signs for street sweeping days if you go during the week. Fishing license is required from these docks for anglers 16 years old and over. Have fun, post a report.
