California Fish and Game has begun a trout tagging study at Lake Perris in order to get information on angling usage as well as catch rates, etc. A percentage of each trout stocking will be recieving reward and non-reward tags that anglers are encouraged to mail in. In hopes of high tag returns, many of the trout tagged are 3-5 lbs like the trout in the attached picture.
