Yesterday was not a typical day for my customers. We struggled to scratch out 20 fish. The weather conditions were perfect, but with all the bassboats on the water, and the pounding the fish took on Friday and Saturday, the bite was tough for us.
Jeff, and his son-in-law Nick, still managed to pick off a couple of nice fish. Jeff is a very experienced tournament fisherman, and he had a good 14 to 15 pound limit for himself, for his best 5.
I talked to several guys in bassboats yesterday, and they all said it was tough for them as well. One guy even said they had not yet caught a fish. :EyePop: That was at 11:00.
Brian and Beth, it was great seeing you yesterday. You guys did great.
