Well went out with my dad today, i was shocked that he wanted to go because he hates trolling and that is what i like. well we trolled for striper and trout then threw the big baits all for nothing. he is falling a sleep he is so bored. SO i get in the rod locker and pull out the 4lb rigs and we head to the east end to bait and wait. he hooks up within a minute on a inflated crawler with my secret sauce on it. these were really nice fish all around 16 inches and 2 to 3 lbs. they jumped like nothing i have ever seen before. it was a lot of fun just watching them jump. my dad would get upset because the may come off..........but who really cares it is about the fight. anyway the fish gods know i didn't want to bait and wait so he let me catch one and my dad had 8.... really nice day really silver trout reminded me of dvl holdovers. i don't think these fish were recent stockers most had good tails and man they fought........
