Hit up my favorite Harbor after work today. Got down there about 1830, one and a half hours before high tide. The incoming tide made it difficult to get to my normal spots but i made the beast of it. Started at 15th St. and worked south, towards 10th St, got all the way down to 10th St. at 2030 with no fish. I was drop shotting a Gulp Bait fish and throwing my usual Big Hammer set up. At this point the big "Skunk" was crossing my mind. I sat down and took a break for a few minutes then started fishing again at 10th St. and planning on working back up to 15th. First cast with the drop shot rig got hammered! Taking drag on the 6lb set up. I though it was my PB Spottie that I am in search of. Turned out to be this nice just a hair shy of legal flattie. What a blast on light line!

Another shot of the same fish!

After the flattie I went back to the Swim Bait set up, got this nice Spottie at 10th St. As well, not my 3 lber I am looking for, it was 15 inches long and I figure around 2 lbs. (Forgot my scale)

That was it all the way back to 15th St. Left the hrbor at 2200.

Nice flattie and Spottie to beat the evening skunk!
Great job as always.............I've got to keep it local on sunday or I would head on down south to hunt with you and Steve.Hey........How's the bait in the harbor if you don't mind me asking?
It's only going to get better and I'm sure that toad spottie is just around the corner for you.
Keep up the good work and thanks for the report!

My buddy and I were working the island at the same time to no effect. We caught the 0 on bh seawolf and gulp crawfish. Nice job with such gross water conditions.
