im thinking about going to the narrows on saturday
i havent been there before
are the trout doing good? and were are the hot spots?

sad, but this is probably your best approach. hasnt been stocked in a couple weeks i think.

They stocked last thursday we went on sunday people were catchin fish real slow . I got the big skunk

I thought they always stock Thursday? Either Pelican or Horseshoe? I personally like it better when they stock Pelican, and like Seng said "just find a spot". Dropshot or splitshot power worms.......Deadly:Twisted:

That's the main problem with Pelican. If you don't get there as early as possible, it is nearly impossible to find a spot on the lake. Although, I was there yesterday (at Pelican) an they did cut out some of the reeds. They are making more room.
And oh yeah, one more thing. I was there and some little girl caught a 10lber on a Barbie pole!
