Shasta Bass Questions

Thinking about getting on Shasta Lake with my boy and would appreciate info on the bass there such as how deep they are,when to expect spawn etc.
Not much of a bass fisherman and would like to learn. Probably fish up the Pit Arm. I'm in Hat Creek.
