I read in an older post that the Lower Owens is suceptable to scheduled simulated "floods" by the water comission (or whoever controls such things). My question is, is there anywhere one can find out this schedule? Or is it just a random event that happens as water needs arise? Thanks....

Tom Loe from Sierra Drifters gets this info sometimes - presumably from DWP since they control the flows. If you find out where to get the info, let me know I'm curious too.
