ahi or toro. not tried the lings yet. nothing from the mud puddles can hang with the ocean's bounty, but i don't troll so i'm no expert there. salmon doesn't count right?

Striper is my personal fav freshie followed by catfish

The best fish I have ever had was an macadamia nut encrusted lingcod at king's fish house...halibut fish n chips is damn good too!

Yellowfin tuna is my favorite sashimi.

My catfish....Grannyfish's killer secret recipe. The pirates did a number on that tray full of fish when I walked by with it! I'm glad you enjoyed it Red, I did too and I'm already looking forward to kitty season.

Steelhead/Salmon

Lingcod

Channel Cat

Striper or Largemouth (had some great fish frys in Texas with LMB and Channel cat)

Halibut always seemed kind of dry to me. Maybe it's because it is so lean.

Striped bass fish tacos. Mmmmm.. I got the bass pro shops deep frier and fish batter. Taste better than Del Tacos fish tacos and 4 3lb stripers will make about 20 tacos.

Freshwater: Walley beer-battered and fried with fries and onion rings.

Saltwater: Sorry, but it's a dead heat between fresh raw tuna and halibut tacos and just-stopped-floppin' lingcod lightly breaded in cracker crumbs and fried on an open campfire over-looking Friday Harbor on San Jaun island.

Fresh Scottish Wild Salmon is second none! If you haven't tasted it then you don't know the worlds best tasting fish is....none of that farmed stuff you get at the market.
