I'm looking to buy a Subaru Baja Turbo. It must be a turbo and it must be manual transmission. If anyone knows someone selling one or sees one for around $12/13k please let me know. Any color but yellow and maroon, my first choice is black. They are extremely hard to find so even if you see one for sale it's kind of a big deal. Also willing to trade for my RSX Type-S + cash.

Reason I'm thinking of switching cars is I'm tired of not being able to bring my Acura fishing/camping and I want something more practical for outdoor activities. With this car, it's small enough where I will be able to still have fun modding it for speed/performance, however it has AWD which will allow me to go offroading and has a bed which will allow me to throw my float tube, fishing equipment, and my future kayak in it. It has a great motor, and I can easily make it as fast as an STI with a few simple mods. Anyway, let me know if you see one, thanks.

BTW I'm now paying $100 to anyone who can find me a Subaru Baja Turbo manual transmission anywhere in Southern California. I'll paypal you the money if I end up buying it. My price range is no more than about $16k.

I have been working on subarus for over thirty years.I work on five diffrent bajas and they are all automatics.Just put an axle one one and a power steering pump on the other.A clutch job one one runs about 1400. Dont see may wird problems on them,Ill keep an eye out.

So if necessary, it would run me about $1400 to do a manual transmission swap?
